As someone who has experience in evidence-based practice and data analytics, she has asked if you would produce a report for Senior Management that explains what evidence-based practice is and its relevance to people professionals. She would also like you to include practical examples of the types of data analysis that people practitioners use to gain insight into people practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In readiness for this you are required to complete a report comprising two sections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Section One \u2013Report<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For section one, you are to produce a report that provides the Senior Management team with knowledge and understanding of what evidence-based practice is and the approaches that can be taken for effective critical thinking and decision-making that ensures integrity and value is upheld.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>You must ensure that you:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Evaluate the concept of evidence-based practice and assess how approaches to evidence-based practice can be used to provide insight that supports sound decision-making across a range of people practices and organisational issues.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Evaluate\u00a0<strong>one\u00a0<\/strong>appropriate analysis tool and\u00a0<strong>one\u00a0<\/strong>appropriate analysis method that might be applied by organisations to recognise and diagnose issues, challenges, and opportunities.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Explain the main principles of critical thinking and describe how these might apply to your own and others\u2019 ideas to assist objective and rational debate.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Explain\u00a0<strong>three\u00a0<\/strong>decision-making processes that can be applied to ensure that effective outcomes are achieved.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assess\u00a0<strong>three\u00a0<\/strong>different ethical perspectives and explain how understanding of these can be used to inform and influence moral decision-making.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Appraise\u00a0<strong>two\u00a0<\/strong>different ways organisations measure financial and non-financial performance, providing one example of each.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Explain how people practices add value in an organisation and identify\u00a0<strong>two\u00a0<\/strong>methods that might be used to measure the impact of people practices.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You should relate to academic concepts, theories and professional practice throughout your report to ensure that your work is critical and informed by using key academic texts, articles and relevant publications. All cited references used should be correctly acknowledged and presented in full in a bibliography at the end of your report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Section Two \u2013 Quantitative and qualitative<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Analysis Review<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For section two, you are to provide a quantitative and qualitative analysis review using the two sets of data provided.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Firstly, review the Equality, Diversity, Inclusion and Salary data that is presented in&nbsp;<strong>Table 1&nbsp;<\/strong>and provide analysis of it to show the:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>percentage of each gender by<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ethnicity as a percentage per<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>disability percentage as an organisational whole and by<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>salary difference across<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>overall average salary paid by the<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Present your findings using appropriate diagrammatical forms and make justifiable recommendations based on your evaluations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Completion of the above two activities will address the following ACs:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>With reference to a people practice issue, interpret analytical data using appropriate analysis tools and methods.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Present key findings for stakeholders from people practice activities and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Make justified recommendations based on evaluation of the benefits, risks and financial implications of potential solutions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Your evidence must consist of:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Task One \u2013 Report\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Task Two \u2013 Quantitative and Qualitative Analysis Review\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Assessment Criteria Evidence Checklist<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You may find the following checklist helpful to make sure that you have included the required evidence to meet the task.
