Judith is a widow and has 3 adult children. She currently lives with her daughter Elenor, who is the middle child. The eldest daughter Laura lives on the Gold Coast with her husband, Samuel, and their children, Joel and Nicole. Judith\u2019s relationship with her son, Paul is estranged. Judith has Type II diabetes \u2013 insulin dependent; hypertension; hyperlipidemia; and osteoarthritis. Judith lives an active life by seeing friends and family, and spending time in the garden. She keeps her mind active by playing music, doing the shopping and cooking. However, Elenor recently noticed Judith has been forgetful. She has been leaving the stove on after cooking, struggling to remember her children\u2019s names (Elenor and siblings), misplacing items or forgetting to close the door when she returns home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After convincing Judith to seek medical attention, Judith was diagnosed with Alzheimer\u2019s disease. The geriatrician confirmed that Judith is in the early stages of her disease and currently still has decision-making capacity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Question One&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the context of Judith\u2019s case, explain the roles of next of kin, medical treatment decision maker, support person, enduring power of attorney, and guardian according to the Victorian Acts?
