This may include but is not limited to:<br>\uf0b7 The rise in use of social media for attraction and brand awareness,<br>\uf0b7 Use of technology to automate recruitment and selection processes,<br>\uf0b7 Increase in use of data analytics and the rise of big data.<br>Increased automation affecting jobs and job roles, especially with therise i in remote working due to the pandemic,<br>\uf0b7 Increase in employee monitoring (including via new tech).<br>The ways that this affects the management of people and work as people professional will need to be analysed and this could be different dependant on which examples are chosen, the industry of the organisation and possibly the country. Use evidence from academic opinion, third party sources and case studies to justify and illustrate your points throughout the answer alongside data from your own organisation. Make sure that you analyse both from the management of people and the HR perspective. There needs to be a critical evaluation of the key pros and cons for these developments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Implications for people management could include:<\/strong><br>\uf0b7 Line manager capability in terms of managing team with remote\/ hybrid working.<br>\uf0b7 Managing and utilising data ethically and fairly.<br>\uf0b7 Constant learning and development required to reskill.<br>\uf0b7 Managing change effectively.<br>\uf0b7 Development of agile working practices etc.<br>Implications for people professionals could include:<br>\uf0b7 Attracting the candidates with the right competencies and life skills such as employees who can manage change.<br>\uf0b7 Requirement for more highly skilled workers and decrease in need for entry level jobs.<br>\uf0b7 Improved skills matching for talent<br>\uf0b7 Employee value proposition<br>\uf0b7 Ethical practices. Increased need for IT governance.
