What is the relationship between theology and religious studies?
The Final Paper should reflect the skills and information students have learned in this course. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Some of the themes to be discussed are very broad. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The students will be expected to show that they know how to use proper biblical research tools in the work that they do. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
They will be judged on their grasp of broad concepts rather than on the ability to be exhaustive. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Submit one paper with three sections. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Each part should be three or four double-spaced pages in length. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Respond to the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1. Word Study: Do a word study of the biblical usage and meaning of the word \u201cAtonement\u201d (in Rom 3:25, NIV) <\/p>\n\n\n\n
2. Discourse Analysis: Using Romans 3, 4 and 5, analyze the paragraphs to show the development of the argument Paul uses in this segment of Romans. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
