Assignment Task

1. Attached drawings: Floor Plan.

2. D1 = 7,200. D2 = 10,300. D3 = 5,400. D4 = 8,200. D5 = 3,600. D6 = 4,500

3. Measure the timber flooring: floorboards, joists and beams – Current BOQ Method and Detailed BOQ Method.

4. Timber floor boards are 195 x 42mm hard wood.

5. Timber joists are 105 x 75mm sawn softwood running from North to South at 530mm centres.

6. Timber beams are 240 x 105mm sawn softwood running from West to East at 920mm centres.

7. Foundation fixing is 1500mm centres.

8. Present the assignment correctly on the Excel spreadsheet. Rounding (always up) and extending correctly.

9. Use side cast calculation where necessary.

10. Provide full descriptions for each item grouped in accordance with the ASMM and lecture examples.

11. The drawings are not to scale but dimension are marked on the drawings and noted in point 2 above.
