Once you have completed the revision and editing process for your proposal, write a reflection of 1-2 pages about the writing process of the essay. Here are some questions you may want to explore in your reflection. While you do not need to address all of them, you should use them to guide your writing.
Why did you choose to write about your proposal topic? How do you think the final product might be able to create real change? How persuasive would it be to the decision makers who could enact the proposed change?
What did you find to be the most useful way to research? What kinds of research are you still struggling with?
What part of the researching, outlining, and drafting process was the most valuable to you? What parts of this process would you use the next time you are assigned a longer paper?
What did you learn about your topic that was unexpected? What did you learn about yourself as a writer that was unexpected?
What was most challenging about writing this essay? How did you overcome those challenges? What would you keep working on if you had another two weeks?
What are you most proud of with this project?
