Write a media review on the three episodes of Steinheist. The three episodes are

• Episode 1: Thoroughbred
• Episode 2: Trojan Horse
• Episode 3: The Billionaire Bookie

This Assignment consists of Four Parts:

Part 1:

Watch the prescribed episodes of Steinheist.

Part 2:

Provide a brief summary of the storyline and context for the episodes – Identify the main characters, describe the setting, and create an awareness of the central point in the documentary. (Max 1½ page)

Part 3

The main body of your review serves to discuss and analyze the factual content of this episode, as well as to express your critical opinion and insight on the subject.

In your review, you must answer the following questions:

• Describe how the culture of trust was detrimental to Steinhoff.
• Explain how Christo Wiese became a Steinhoff shareholder.
• Discuss the red flags that stakeholders could have identified in Steinhoff.
• Discuss the impact of the Steinhoff Crash on different stakeholders.
• Summarise the episodes’ content in THREE SENTENCES.
• What specific aspect of the documentary do you wish to analyze in detail? (Select one aspect that highlights what immediately stands out to you: scenes, a quote, a biased position, use of imagery, use of sound and music, degree of interest, message, overall quality of the episode, information presented, and any other aspect that comes to mind). Briefly explain why this aspect stood out to you within the context of the documentary.
