• Outline the effect of the issue on Irish society and referring to two support agencies.
• Examine the effect of discrimination on the social group distinguishing between prejudice and discrimination. Refer to Allport’s stages of social prejudice.
• Theoretical concepts should be appropriately explored in relation to the chosen topic.
• The conclusion should show evidence of critical thinking. Reflect and evaluate the learning process.
• Use a variety of media sources to access information.
• Employ the Harvard method of referencing. Supporting material should be selected carefully, with evidence examined objectively making references to sources.
• A well-constructed bibliography must be included.
