The management wants to develop a new smartphone. 

It needs to decide on the warranty period that will correspond to the phone`s lifespan.

 It has contracted you to perform a Statistical analysis on this issue.

You decide to implement a multiple regression analysis by collecting data from a sample of people on the lifespans of their previous smartphones and the possible factors.

1. Explain individually your choice of three independent quantitative variables and one qualitative dummy variable in the data collection. The variables shall be a mix of user and product attributes.
2. State one statistical issue which may arise from the data collection and explain how you would prevent or minimize the occurrence of this issue.
