You are a Business Analyst (BA) undertaking BPM to improve processes within the above health clinic. The idea is to take the above process and model it as a ‘To-Be’ diagram. Come up with what you feel to be an effective solution to handling the one cycle of the above SCIS process.
You are free to make your own interpretations here as to how you think you can achieve savings. How much time you think you should spend on the process, how means of communication take place, which staff should be used are up to you. Students achieving higher grades/marks however generally provide evidence 2 for their claims.
- Read up on BPMN (Papazoglou and Ribbers, 2010). These pages are included with this assignment.
- Consider the software you wish to use – ADONIS or other suitable BPM software depending on your machine.
- Examine figure 1 and table 1 (above) and appendix 2 (below) for an idea of how to create your To-Be process.
- Implement one To-Be process model for the scenario above (using figure 1 and table 1 and appendix 2 as a guide).
