Course Description

This course introduces students to the theory and practice of Knowledge Based Systems (KBS). The course considers tasks in knowledge sharing and knowledge engineering that can help students acquire the expert domain knowledge from one or more human experts. This course also considers intelligent databases that can be used to make decisions.

Introduce students to the concepts of knowledge based systems

Introduce students to the logic of integrating knowledge in database systems
