DESCRIPTION - Ryan Air Case Study

Please read the case study given below carefully and complete the tasks given at the end Ryanair is a well-known Irish budget airlines founded by Christopher Ryan, Liam Lonergan and Tony Ryan in 1984. The company drew inspiration from US based Southwest as a low-cost airlines (Harbison, 2016). The company is facing number of issues recently with increasing costs, Brexit uncertainties as well as staffing issues.

To further compound the problem, the company is facing negative media cover age on its customer service, employee relations and disputes.

Tasks
1. Perform a SWOT and PESTEL analysis for Ryanair.

2. Using your analysis from task 1, in your opinion, what is the main problem that is facing Ryanair that requires immediate attention and why?

3. Propose a solution to the problem you have identified using at least TWO management concepts and theories that you have learnt during your course.

4. The second part of the assignment will involve writing a short report on your experience in writing this report. (250 words - 20%).
