A2. Group Project on Autonomous Vehicles Business Opportunities

The distance from theory to practice is equal to the distance from thinking to funding. Autonomous Vehicles is a very challenging sector where with tremendous funding opportunities if they are communicated in a logical and convincing way.
The logical part can be achieved with a well structured business plan that indicates the return on investment.
The convincing part however can be achieved with the endorsement of industry experts data, and influencers.
With your group mates you are expected to deliver a triple file assignment composed of the following:
An Autonomous Vehicle business opportunity supported with the preliminary business plan (BMC)
A presentation of the business opportunity.
A one or two page with the group members contribution.
A: Business Opportunity
- In an 1.200 words group essay please provide the following:
- Find a global need in Autonomous Vehicles and explain its potential business development.
- Identify the industry, location and potential clients that could use the proposed technology
Support your decision with experts opinion, interviews and other types of data (survey or case studies).
Develop a preliminary business plan using the Business Model Canvas
B: Presentation
Transform the content of the business opportunity into a presentation deck and delivered it in class on week 5. Assume that you are presenting to an investor or a funding authority.
All students must be present in the presentation and deliver one part of the presentation. There are no limits on the number of the slides.
The presentation duration is 10 minutes maximum.
C: Contribution Log
In an 1-2 page log file indicate which member of your group worked on which part of the business opportunity report and the presentation.
ALTERNATIVE ASSIGNMENT: For those interested in AUTONOMOUS VESSELS you have the option to deliver exactly the same assignment applied in Autonomous Vessels instead of Autonomous Vehicles.
