Thesis - The effect of viral infection on the expression of periostin

Purpose
To investigate the effect of viral infection on Periostin expression at various infection time points.

Objectives:
1.To determine the level of Periostin in infected HELA cells and validate its accuracy and reliability by establishing a standard curve.
2.Examine the relationship between Periostin concentrations and viral load at various time points during a viral infection.
3.To examine the relationship between Periostin concentrations and viral load in infected supernatant samples during viral infections.
