Students will prepare a resume and cover letter for the job posting/advertisement in your area submitted and approved by the instructor. Businesses often discard resumes that contain typographical, grammar, and formatting errors, and the grading of this assignment will be consistent with ‘real life’ scenarios involving the review of both the resume and cover letter.Based on the approved internship advertisement, students will create a cover letter specific to the advertisement (job posting) and a resume. Utilizing the resume/cover letter templates, resume/cover letter examples, and feedback from Dr. Price, students will submit a final draft of both their resume and cover letter. Students should submit three separate Word documents: resume in one document and cover letter in separate document along with the job posting/advertisement.
