Assignment & Requirements: Craft a 5 to 7 page research paper based on one a topic respective to what we’ve studied this semester that suits you.
The Research Paper will be worth 100 points.
You will be graded on how thoroughly you discuss your thesis (central idea of the essay), bring in a complete understanding of your topic, theorist, and cultural product.
You can write about an author or a period of criticism as long as you tie your ideas succinctly and aptly to a cultural product, a novel, a film, a story, or even an authors set of poems.
You must use a minimum of five sources including one or more of our class textbooks. You may use whatever approach suits your topic but I strongly recommend an intertextual approach that makes use of the theorists ideas you have enjoyed and wish to revisit or go more deeply into her or his ideas.
MLA (Works Cited) or APA (References) citation style, Double-spaced, Times New Roman, 12 pt. Plagiarized paper will receive a failing grade.
