Three things that personally help me to reduce stress are, playing video
I need a reply with 150 words to this discussion.according to the article, some of the reasons college students are stressed are that we as humans grow up following the leadership of our parents for our basic needs to survive, things such as food comfort and guidance, now as we grow one can have trouble leading oneself and hypothetically a college student may face stress if without self-leadership, according to the article:
One of the greatest challenges individuals face in leading themselves is the effective management of stress.some of the impacts of stress on overall health are, if stress causes threats or triggers to the point it responds to “fight or flight” it may cause a speed up to the heart rate and breathing rate, raises blood pressure and muscle tension, In other words, chronic stress can be very harmful to the health.
some methods of stress relief are by starting small such as cocking dinner or paying bills after a long stressful day, another way is identifying and targeting the stressor by knowing what the cause of the stress is and targeting that stressor with quick stress relief every time.
as it might seem obvious that we can understand and know when we are being stressed, some of the ways we can recognize that we are stressed are, losing contact with some of our senses such as taste and smell, sound, touch, sight, some are capable at times of stress to recognize stress by observing the muscles and or breath patterns.
three things that personally help me to reduce stress are, playing video games, taking a long walk and circling back, meditation certainly helps me a lot at times. Here is an example for the reply:
Hi Talal!I thought it was interesting that some college students are stressed due to not having basic necessities such as food and comfort. I really like that you included this in your discussion and its negative impacts it has on the student.
I completely agree why someone who lacks guidance, or is struggling to find food would be stressed on top of everything else they have going on. I feel that these are simple things that no one should have to be stressed over. I also like how you explained the negative impact of the bodies “fight or flight” response being constantly stimulated. As you included, this leaders to an abnormally high blood pressure and heart rate which is detrimental to ones health later down the road if it continues.
Similar to what you explained, its important to recognize the signs of being stressed so that you can take action and find ways to help heal your body from stressful factors.
