U31220 Digital Transformation.
Assessment Aim: Adhering to the benefits of presentation opportunity in an academic module, this module lets students to frame themselves in a role playing learning approach to explore realistic situations from today`s digitised world. The role play learning process in this module helps students impulsively analyse and act on an existing/given business problem (specific to digital disruption and transformation).
For the analysis of existing/given business problem, students are equipped with updated digital transformation knowledge through a series of lectures and seminars. In the role playing learning approach, students develop/gain many strengths which help them excel in the challenging job market such as; the ability to observe and situation, understand problem solving and business process re-engineering techniques, importance of communication, experiential learning, practical integration of knowledge, skills and abilities.
Not limited to such strengths, students also advance their leadership/managerial skills, learn how to create digital transformation strategy and develop a roadmap towards appropriate business solution. Moreover, in a role play students are carefully observed by the module teacher to provide expert guidance and leadership skills.
At the end of teaching block, students are provided with the opportunity to act as a role player in front of subject matter experts, industry professionals and market leaders for learning oriented evaluation. By the reception of an evaluation, students enhance their creativity and confidence.
