UA Corporate Social Responsibility Presentation

INSTRUCTIONS:
Select a Fortune 500 company and locate the company’s Social Responsibility Report. The report may have other names such as: sustainability report, environmental report, etc. Once you have located the report, prepare a PowerPoint Presentation that includes the following points:
1. Include a brief background of the company selected (1 to 2 slides only).
2. What are the types of initiatives that are included in the report? In other words, what is included in the report? Include a list of all the social responsibility initiatives that are included in the report (2 to 3 slides as needed).
3. After reviewing all of the social responsibility initiatives that are included in the report, select two initiatives that are related to environmental sustainability and/or social/global issues. Describe in detail the purpose of these initiatives and the stakeholders who will benefit from the initiatives. The description should include both what the initiative is and who benefits from the initiative (3 slides per initiative – 6 slides in total).
4. For the two initiatives selected, describe how the organization measures whether the initiatives are successful. For example, how does the organization measure the benefit to the stakeholders? Measurements should include both dates and numbers. For example, the report may indicate that by 2025 the company plans to reduce carbon emissions by 25%. Again, the measurement includes a date and a number which explains how the company plans to measure its goals. How to locate the measurements? Measurements
may be included as a graph or a table in the report (2 to 3 slides).
5. Using the textbook, define ethical CSR, altruistic CSR, and strategic  CSR.Using supporting evidence from the CSR Report, describe whether the initiatives represent ethical, altruistic, or strategic CSR (1 to 2 slides).
6. Remember, you will be graded on the following:
a. Ability to read and follow directions.
b. Ability to locate an organization’s CSR Report.
c. Ability to prepare a PowerPoint Presentation that includes all of the above relevant information.
d. Ability to use what you have learned about CSR to interpret whether the corporation is being ethical, altruistic, or strategic.
