UM Performance or Quality Discussion

I’m currently working on a group assignment and my prof required me to answer the following question: In the event that the performance or quality of work of a member is below the expectations of the rest of the group, what would you do?

I have an idea of how to answer this question but I need someone to expand on it and add other alternatives.
