What are other objects in our solar system like? Are any of them similar to each other, or are they all completely different? Do any of the features that appear on other objects also show up on Earth? In our first discussion, we are going to take a look at different planetary bodies in our solar system to get you familiar with the features found on objects outside of our Earth.
Use the readings to answer the primary question in an initial post of at least 150 words: How are planetary objects alike and different?
Discuss similarities and differences (at least three) between characteristics of two planets.
Discuss similarities and differences (at least three) between characteristics of two small bodies (i.e., moons, asteroids, comets, and dwarf planets).
Based on what you’ve read so far, describe any of the characteristics or features found on other objects that also appear on the Earth, and on which object(s) they were found.
Describe any of the features found on other objects that are things you’ve heard of, interacted with, or seen (in real life or in images) before.
