These are just some ideas – I encourage you to find a topic that you have interest in:
1. You believe that education and promotional programs aren’t enough to stop the trend of physical inactivity, why? How do you think we are going to change this in the future? Why do you think what we’ve done hasn’t worked?
2. Canadian Women in Sport has a social-ecological model to get more women and girls actively engaged – do you think this will work? How can it be implemented?
3. From a planning perspective – how can planning within a particular community help us with the current inactivity epidemic we face – ie – designing neighborhoods to be more walking friendly (there’s a distinct lack of sidewalks in Winnipeg in the burbs).
4. You could research any program trends (bootcamps, American Ninja Warrior, risky play, etc)
5. You could research a particular population that you are interested in.
