Question

1. Read the excerpt from "Philosophy: a text with Readings".

Give one example of a fallacy we may be subjected to in real life. Name the fallacy and the possible occurrence in our lives. For example, a jean store has a sign outside that reads, "All denim 50% off" with a fine print that states, "not including our Tokyo, Paris, and London brand jeans". This would be a fallacy of ambiguity.

2. A historical timeline for the time period you are given (MEDIVAL). Find dates of the events mentioned in the lesson and include them on your time line. Also, conduct your own research to include a few events that you believe to be important to your time period. Finally, mark three philosophers on your timeline, including the date of birth, death, and at least the year of one major publication or speech made by the person.

3. Select a philosopher who has a theory about aesthetics, epistemology, or philosophy of science and write a brief overview of them and their theory.
