Assessment task

Part 1
The work in Part 1 is to be measured in accordance with the latest Civil Engineering
Standard Method of Measurement (CESMM).

Take off the quantities and prepare descriptions for the piles, pile caps, and bridge abutments in the drawings numbered 5120315-BR-DD-001, 5120315-BR-DD-002, 5120315-BR-DD-003, 5120315-BR-DD-004, and 5120315-BR-DD-005.

You are to measure the in-situ concrete, reinforcement and formwork only.

Part 2
The work in Part 2 is to be in accordance with the New Rules of Measurement 2
(NRM2).

Using the information supplied, this includes drawings, finishing schedules and door and window schedules, measure and price the internal finishes for the semi-detached houses using CostX software.

You are to also prepare:
Items for inclusion in the Preliminaries Bill for the Employers requirements (NRM2 1.1);
 A BQ Provisional item for 7,200 to be spent on fencing; and
 A Dayworks Bill

(You may make an estimate of the cost of the dwelling and assumptions of the trades needed)

Note: Preamble clauses may be written if needed.

Using the BIM model of the technical college building provided, measure completely, the following elements:

Roof

Curtain Wall
