You have been appointed as Operations Manager by Infinity Cars, a local car dealer which is looking to expand their business. The business currently operates from two local lock up garages and the records are kept in the manager`s note book relating to stock and sales.

The manager Dave employs a part time member of staff who is studying at a local college and he has suggested that the business moves to computerised records to streamline processes and enable all staff to have access to the same records. Dave has therefore asked you to investigate this idea further. The business needs to be able to log customer details, sales, stock, appointments with customers and suppliers, car tax, service logs and maintenance records.

The computer system should be designed so that it is networkable and that it can be expanded in future to allow for additional staff and sharing of components and devices. It should also be accessed through mobile devices.
