Employee engagement is a fundamental approach that can be analyzed from both qualitative and quantitative viewpoints. It is a basic parameter that can define at what intensity employees feel motivated to get indulged in the work circle of an organization (Meintjes & Hofmeyr, 2018).
This small concept plays an important role in the process of defining success for an organization. For ensuring proper employee, engagement an organization needs to ensure an adequate amount of job satisfaction by giving importance to the morale of the organizational structure (Dhir & Shukla, 2019). Organizations follow diversified techniques to ensure a better level of employee engagement by utilizing options like reward giving and effective communication.
In all organizations, certain factors work as the driving elements in ensuring proper manner of employee engagement (Jindal, Shaikh & Shashank, 2017). To ensure proper engagement of employees in their job role, it is important that their mental well-being needs to be ensured, and emotional satisfaction needs to be there for the job role. Better performances can be obtained in this manner, and at the same time, improvement potentials can be given priority. Like any other industry, the pharma industry has been adopting strategic planning for ensuring proper employee engagement in the healthcare sector.
