This project deals specifically with the following learning outcomes:
➢ identify current issues and conflicts of urban and rural land use planning and development.
➢ explain the dynamics of land ownership and the property development process from a
sustainable land use planning perspective (i.e. individual property rights and the ‘common
good’).
➢ Discuss the importance of the National Built Heritage Service and the Local Development
Plans Record of Protected Structures from a land use planning perspective.

Detailed Brief: – This site is currently for sale on  Assume your
client is interested in purchasing the site and has asked you for advice in relation to its purchase.

Your client wants to know what potential issues might arise if she/he wanted to build a private house on the site
