Poster Presentation Assessment

The overall aim of this poster and audio presentation is to demonstrate your understanding of formulation and diagnosis approaches to understanding a client`s difficulties, using a specific mental health issue (see Appendices) and psychological approach (CBT).

You must select ONE of the two cases studies in the Appendix section for your poster presentation, which has two parts:

A: The poster itself which must be ONE powerpoint slide.

B: Accompanying SEVEN minute audio recording.

Your presentation will test the same learning outcomes as the original piece of work (below). Thus, your poster and audio recording must demonstrate all three learning outcomes:

Learning Outcome 1. Describe and compare diagnostic classification and formulation approaches to psychological perspectives on mental health.

Learning Outcome 2. Explain the role of theoretical models and schema in the psychological perspective on mechanisms and processes of mental health issues.

Learning Outcome 3. Describe to a general audience a psychological explanation of a mental health issue using an appropriate theory or model using a poster format and elevator pitch.
