Assessment 1: Essay

This assessment requires you to research in depth to produce a critical essay around an area of contention linked to leadership and management issues experienced and applied to Hospitality industry. You are required to choose an organisation related to hospitality and Tourism industry to produce your essay.

It will assess learning outcomes 1 - 4 and contribute 100% of module marks.

You are required to research extensively and work independently on a subject or topic which is of interest to you. You should read widely and use a good breadth of academic materials to support claims you make. You should display a well-balanced argument and draw on examples and situations which may occur within the workplace that are relevant to the topic you are discussing.

13. Essays must be word processed or typed and correctly referenced throughout. Your name should be printed on the front of the essay. You should also include a front cover with your name displayed, use headers and footers, page numbers and type in Arial 12 font.
