Scenario

Form an organization with its own vision, mission and set of objectives. For the identified roles of the organization, most suitable people should assigned. Every student should give a position in the organization and they have to fulfill their responsibilities to achieve the organizational goals and the objectives.

As an organization, you are required to plan a business project and generate profits. Each individual should participate in achieving the targeted profits. Then the profit you have generated should use for an effective community project. You are free to decide the project topic but it should be creative, innovative, and positive towards the community. All the students are required to participate actively for each of the activities of the project. Individual active participation and teamwork skills will observed and assessed for the assignment grading.

Assessment Task 1: Produce a group report with the answers to the following tasks. (80% form to total marks)

1. Critically discuss the strategy/goals to implement the business project. Apply SWOT and PEST analysis.

2. Discuss the main issues that the project team faced when doing projects and suggest some important recommendations to overcome such issues.

3. Discuss the viability of the project by financial and non-financial criteria.

4. The project success depends on better management of the project. Explain how you would manage five process groups of project produce a success project and their main deliverables.

5. Analyze the stakeholders of the project by preparing stakeholder analysis report.

6. Explain the project scope and contracts had among the project team.

7. List the risks forecasted for the project, conduct risk analysis, prioritize the risk, and develop the responding strategies.
