Part 1: Describe how you could use systematic instruction to teach a vocational skill to a student with an intellectual disability.
Select a vocational skill and discuss how and when you could provide instruction using one of the response prompting methods discussed in class.
You do NOT have to actually develop a plan.
You MUST select a specific response prompting method AND incorporate a strategy related to teaching vocational skills from the required readings.
Part 2: Briefly discuss why it is so important to ensure that you follow a systematic instruction plan as it is written.
That is, why have we stressed the importance of including the various aspects of a complete plan (i.e., how to prompt, how to reinforce, how to respond to errors, and more) along with stressing that you should follow the plan?
